· large GROUPS
Can DIFFICULT TO COORDINATE,
BUT
THE EFFORTS MAKE THE EXPRESSIONS AND FACES
SHOW WHEN THE CLOTHING BLENDS.
Try for muted tones, such as blues, greys,
and browns.
· With
large family groups, separate sub-family groups by color. This is very effective when the groups all have a base-tone to build off of.
2. Solid colors help draw attention to the face and expressions, not the clothing.
Patterns and Designs are distracting.
3. Casual clothing, such as slacks and sweater, provides opportunity for a variety of poses. Wear what your comfortable in
and feel good in.
4. Long sleeves are preferable
to short sleeves, because they create a flowing line. A short sleeve interrupts the flow with a horizontal line across the body.
5. To look slim: Common question!
Wear dark colors, such as navy or black, with
little or no contrast between top and bottom. This creates a flow to the body.
6. Avoid photo-grey glasses on outdoor portraits! Your optometrist may be able to loan you empty frames
or show you how to temporarily remove your lenses.
